We commemorate the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the two world wars.

Our cemeteries, burial plots and memorials are a lasting tribute to those who died in some 154 countries across the world.

Our Register records details of Commonwealth war dead so that graves or names on memorials can be located.

A photographic exhibition telling the story of the CWGC Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial will go on display as part of commemorations marking the 90th anniversary of its unveiling.


Latest Cemetery Information

BELGIUM - WYTSCHAETE MILITARY CEMETERY

Road works are taking place in the Wijtschatestraat as from 7 August 2017 and will last until March 2018. At certain times during this period access to the cemetery will only be possible by foot via the cycle track. We advise to park your vehicle on the St. Medardusplein in the village and walk up to the cemetery which is about 500m away.

FRANCE - LE GRAND BEAUMART BRITISH CEMETERY, STEENWERCK

Complete horticultural renovations are taking place at the site from the end of September until the end of October 2017. While renovations continue the site will remain accessible for visitors.
